Valentine's day is in the air.  The stores are filled with red and pink hearts, cupids, and symbols of love-as well as a ton of candy and gifts designed to be given to special loved ones. Now finding a gift for a female isn't terribly hard: you can usually go the standard candy, flowers, jewelry, stuffed animal route.  But what about gifts for the guys in your life? What makes a good Valentines day gift for a guy?  I took it upon myself to investigate this most perplexing of issues and with the help of my son and his friends came up with a list of things that you can get for that special man in your life. Things that he will not only like, but use as well-and think fondly of you each and every time he does.

What guy doesn't love his car? What better way to show him you care about him then to get him something for his four wheeled baby? There are tons of cool car gadgets you can purchase that will help make his car both look and smell nice. Here are some great ideas:

• Car air fresheners. The Secret Garden Candle Company in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has these fabulous fragrance beads that you put into a pouch and put in your car. They make the whole ride smell heavenly. My 6ft tall 200lb. son swears by them-and his car smells SWEET!!

If your sweetheart has a lead foot why not help him out by giving him something that could save him from having to pay for speeding tickets? The less he spends on tickets-the more left to spend on you. Its a win-win situation.

1. Fishing- You can put together a great gift for that fishing fan of yours by simply buying a red tackle box or red cooler and filling it with an assortment of lures, reels, fishing line, gloves, and a pair of snazzy sunglasses. Don't forget the sunscreen and the snacks.
2. Hunting-The hunter in your life might appreciate a red cooler filled with things he can use while he is out in the woods on his hunting adventure. Ammunition, hunting knives, gloves, hunting socks, and ear guards will put a big Valentines Day smile on his face.
3. Golf- Valentine's day is the perfect time to get your golfer a new set of clothes to wear on the course-RED clothes of course. Accent his new outfit with a new set of gloves, socks, and golf shoes and you'll have the best dressed player at the club. Getting him new tees, golf balls, and even golf clubs are sure to make him one happy guy.
